Gun-Flashing, Road Raging Drug Dealer Gets Six Years

Lance Williams, 30, of Stump Road in Montgomery Township, pleaded guilty to felony illegal possession of a firearm in connection with a May 2010 road rage incident.

Lance E. Williams, 30, of the 1100 block of Stump Road, Montgomery Township, was given three to six years in prison in Montgomery County court Thursday for pleading guilty to a felony charge of carrying a firearm without a license, according to court records.

Williams pleaded guilty in 2010, but his sentencing was deferred for nearly three years, according to court records.

Williams was originally charged with felony illegal possession of a firearm, and misdemeanor charges of reckless endangerment, terroristic threats, simple assault, and drug possession, according to court records.

According to The Intelligencer, Williams was involved in a road rage incident on May 28, 2010 at 8 p.m.

Williams, driving a red Dodge Magnum with chrome wheels, flashed his gun at a driver, after he attempted to run another car off the road near Windlestrae Park, according to an affidavit.

The driver reported the incident to police. Williams was pulled over, and a .40-caliber gun, loaded with 10 rounds of hollow-point bullets, was found in his passenger girlfriend’s purse, according to police.
