NORRISTOWN, PA — A Montgomery County man is heading to prison for the rest of his life after a Common Pleas Court jury this week found him guilty in the beating death of his girlfriend's 4-year-old daughter in 2016.
Marquis Thomas, 35, of Hatfield Township, had been jailed since 2019 awaiting his first-degree murder trial, which ended with his conviction after 10 hours of jury deliberations on Thursday, according to a report in the Philadelphia Inquirer.
