Interactive map has tax burdens for state, local and sales tax for Philadelphia and its suburbs

Pew Trusts has released an interactive map that shows the tax burden for Philadelphia and its suburbs for a hypothetical family of two adults and two children.
The chart shows what a family pays in property, income and sales taxes in each municipality studied in 2000 versus 2012.
According to Pew Trusts, the median household income for the entire region in 2000 was $47,500, which has increased to $60,000.

In 2012, taxpayers not working in Philadelphia, that live in Lansdale Borough, pay $6,699 a year in state and local taxes, about 11.2 percent of income.
That number is about $1,040, or 1.7 percent, less than a family in the City of Philadelphia. The local-only tax burden (with state portion of sales tax) in Lansdale is $4,857 a year, or about 8.1 percent of income.

Pew estimates population at 16,269 at present, up from 16,071 in 2000 in Lansdale.
Lansdale taxpayers working in Philadelphia pay $8,288 each year in state and local taxes, about $549 more than Philadelphia. Local-only burden is $6,446 a year.
Based on the hypothetical family, that's a difference of $298 between 2000 and 2012 for state and local burdens, for residents not working in Philadelphia.
