Lansdale Music Fest, 'The Music Man,' and More Today in Montgomeryville-Lansdale
A look at the events going on today in the North Penn area.

1. A two-day music festival called “Lansdale Music Fest” kicks off tonight at 5 to 10 p.m. at Lansdale Music Factory on West Main Street in Lansdale. On the bill Friday night: Soviet Sleeper Agent, Earthling, Andross, The Mahlors, and Pillars of Villainy.
On Saturday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.: Mind of Misfortune, Commonwealth, Ronald Raygun, Try Hard Charles, The Eschatones, Get Railed, Dugout, Sovereign, Objection, Run For It.
Tickets are $10 for Friday, $12 for Saturday, or $20 for both days. No alcohol.

2. “The Music Man” is Methacton Community Theater’s production this weekend at Perkiomen Valley Middle School East. Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m., with a 2 p.m. matinee Saturday. Tickets are $10 and $15 at the door.
