Lansdale squad cars will be donned with pink ribbons in October in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
LANSDALE, PA — On top of the various insignias typical to police vehicles, squad cards in Lansdale will have a little addition this month.
The Lansdale Police Department announced that it would be displaying a pink ribbon on all if its patrol vehicles in October to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The department has also updated the profile pictures on both its Facebook page and Twitter account to an image of the police department's shield symbol but in all pink instead of the typical colors.
