SEPTA Causes Delays Around Main Street

Traffic is delayed around Main Street due to a SEPTA issue at the Lansdale train station.

According to a Lansdale police officer, the SEPTA safety gate in the eastbound lane of Main Street struck  a tension wire, "shorting out" the system.

Traffic is heavily delayed on Broad and Main streets, and detoured to through Vine Street on the Main Street side.

SEPTA crews are working now to correct the issue. According to SEPTA's Twitter feed, expect 20 minute delays.
