Montgomery Township Donates $1,000 to Fox Children's Fund
Supervisors also authorized a donation to the Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation Camp program from proceeds from the "It's Finally Done Fun Run" on September 9

In honor of and in memory of slain Plymouth Township Officer Bradley Fox, Montgomery Township Supervisors Monday night have donated $1,000 to the Fox Children's Fund.
All in all, the township has budgeted $34,150 in contributions for 2012:
- Annual Employee Service Awards: $2,650
- Non-specified contributions: $1,000
- Montgomery Township Historical Society: $6,000
- Montgomery County Public Library: $9,000
- North Penn Visiting Nurse Association: $2,000
- PEAK Center: $3,000
- Visiting Nurse Association-Community Services: $1,500
- Volunteer Recognition Dinner: $9,000
Those looking to add to the fund can make contributions by mailing or bringing a check to: Continental Bank, 661 Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.

Supervisors also authorized a second donation Monday night, this time not from its budget, but from proceeds from the "It's Finally Done Fun Run" 5K race that took place Sept. 9 on the yet-to-be-opened Route 202 Parkway.
A check for $7,219.24 was donated to the Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation camp program. It was accpeted by Cheryl Pompeo, senior director of special events for JRAF.
