Musical Laser Light Shows This Week at North Penn Planetarium
The North Penn School District Community Education Program holds eight laser light shows over the next four days, set to music from The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran and more.
Get left in the dark, watch the lights and enjoy a lot of music this week at North Penn High School’s Planetarium.
The North Penn School District Community Education Program hosts eight musical laser light shows over the next four evenings, beginning Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Cost is $7 for adults and $5 for students. You can view and download an order form in our photo gallery.

The programs are led by planetarium director James Bauman.
There are six themes for the light shows, each featuring unique popular music:

- Laser Magic and Laser Mania: An all-ages show featuring artists such as Blink 182, No Doubt, Will Smith and B-52s.
- Laser Retro: The show features artists from the 1980s, such as INXS, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran and The Cure.
- Laser Beatles: A show with Beatles hits and some rarities.
- Laser Vinyl: A show with a mix of classic rock bands, such as AC/DC, Queen, Aerosmith and Pink Floyd. It’s classic rock under one roof.
- Legends of the Night Sky: An animated story of some popular constellations in the sky.

Wednesday, April 3
6 p.m.: Laser Magic
7:15 p.m.: Laser Retro
Thursday, April 4
6 p.m.: Legends of the Night Sky
7:15 p.m.: Laser Beatles
Friday, April 5
6 p.m.: Laser Mania
7:15 p.m.: Laser Vinyl
Saturday, April 6
1 p.m.: Legends of the Night Sky
2:15 p.m.: Laser Beatles
