The North Penn Marching Knights Are 2021 National Champions
The North Penn Marching Knights won a national band championship this past weekend at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

NORTH PENN, PA — Some high school musicians are celebrating after an exciting national-level win this past weekend.
The North Penn Marching Knights announced that they were crowned national champions Saturday during the US Bands Group IV Open competition at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
The Knights scored 95.20 to win the Best Overall Caption Award.

The announcement was made via social media.
According to the website of the North Penn Music Aides, which promotes and financially supports band activities, the Marching Knights have won various awards throughout the years. They won 10 consecutive US Bands Group 6 championships from 1996 to 2005, and they won the US Bands Group 4 championship back in 2011 and the US Bands Group 5 championship in 2014.

They also won the US Bands PA State Group 4 championship in both 2017 and 2018, the website states.
