Pedestrian Hit By Car in North Wales, Driver Taken In For Questioning

A man was hit by a Honda Accord as he crossed Walnut Street Thursday in North Wales Borough. He was taken by VMSC to Abington Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries.

North Wales Police are assessing the scene where a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle at North Third and Walnut streets at around 2:15 p.m.
Blood is visible on the northbound lane of East Walnut Street, along with an article of clothing and a men's dress shoe.
Police said the victim, an adult male, suffered a head laceration to the left side and transported via VMSC to Abington Memorial Hospital Trauma Center.
The man was hit by a Honda Accord driven by an adult male, police said.
The accident is under investigation.
Officer Lynne Custer said the driver has been detained and taken in for questioning.
