A 15-Year-Old Boy Was Reportedly Shot Dead This Weekend In Souderton Borough

The teenager reportedly suffered a gunshot wound to the chest.

SOUDERTON, PA — A teenager is dead following a shooting this past weekend in the borough.

Souderton Police and personnel with Harleysville Area Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to a home around 1:20 p.m. on Oct. 31 for a report of a shooting, and upon arrival officers discovered that a juvenile male had been shot, according to a police department news release.

The juvenile was subsequently transported to Grandview Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

The home is located near the area of Parkview Drive and Green Street. The exact age of the juvenile was not given; police only say he was a teenager.

Investigators from Souderton Borough and the Montgomery County Detective Bureau are currently conducting a joint investigation into the incident.
