The Mavericks, Richard Thompson Headline Philly Folk Fest

The 52nd Philadelphia Folk Fest arrives to Old Pool Farm in Upper Salford August 16 to August 18. Tickets available now.

The Philadelphia Folksong Society has announced the lineup for the 52nd Philadelphia Folk Festival, running August 16 to August 18 at Old Pool Farm in Upper Salford Township.

The Mavericks and Richard Thompson are headlining the fest, according to a blog on Philly.com. The Maverick are country rockers and Thompson is a British guitar virtuoso, according to the blog.

Here is the breakdown for ticket prices. There are extra fees for RV camping:

  • All Festival Adult (all day and evening events Friday to Sunday): $118.40
  • All Festival/Tent Camping Adult (all events Thursday to Sunday): $158.40
  • All Festival/Vehicle Camping Adult (all events Thursday to Sunday with vehicle camping access): $158.40
  • All Festival Youth 12-17: $74
  • All Festival Youth Camping 12-17: $99
  • All Festival Youth Vehicle Camping 12-17: $99
  • All Festival Child: Free

Vehicle camping requires a $40 add-on ticket for each RV.

Attendees can also buy reserved seating tickets at an extra cost. Reserved seating are located at the front of the stage. Friday, Saturday and Sunday reserved seating is $10 each day. You can buy a 3-day reserved seating for $25.

Attendees can also buy a shuttle pass for $19 for the entire weekend. Shuttle is done via a golf cart transport.
