A Driver In Towamencin Reportedly Struck And Killed A 78-Year-Old Pedestrian From Lansdale
A 78-year-old pedestrian from Lansdale was reportedly killed by a pickup truck driver in Towamencin Township this past weekend.
TOWAMENCIN TOWNSHIP, PA — A 78-year-old pedestrian from Lansdale who was walking in the area of Allentown and Forty Foot Roads in Towamencin Township on Sunday was reportedly killed after being struck by a pickup truck driver, according to local news reports.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene just after 2 p.m. Sunday after which they pronounced the woman, who has not yet been identified, dead, according to a news account in North Penn Now, which says the driver of the truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
