2 Retirements, 3 Resignations Approved by East Penn Board
East Penn School Board approves several resignations, appointments and status changes.

The East Penn School Board approved several personnel changes at its meeting Monday night. There were two retirements:
- Michael Seip, Health/Physical Education Teacher, effective June 16
- Patrice Helfrich, ESL teacher, effective June 12
Superintendent Thomas Seidenberger said he would miss Seip, who "embraced change" and was excellent throughout the phys ed, drivers ed and swimming programs with which he was associated.
There were three resignations:

- John Stabinger, web/application specialist, effective May 3
- Melissa Klingenberg, instructional assistant at Jefferson Elementary, effective April 5.
- Amanda Kender, instructional assistant at Macungie Elementary, effective April 10.
There were two appointments:
- Jennifer Rosa, remedial assistant at Macungie Elementary, $13.75/hour, 29 hours/week, effective April 9.
- Sandra Kreiner, staff assistant at Macungie Elementary, $13.38/hour, 16.5 hours/week, effective April 9.
Seidenberger also said he would miss Stabinger, who played an outstanding part in developing Moodle and Google docs programs and also played a part in designing the district's website.
