Adam Yenser, EHS '01, Wins Emmy Writing for 'Ellen'
The Macungie native won an Emmy for his writing for the Ellen DeGeneres Show and has also written for Saturday Night Live and Conan O'Brien.
Macungie native Adam Yenser says he was quiet in high school, so you might not have noticed him if you were a fellow member of the 2001 graduating class at Emmaus High School.
But there was an inner funny guy with an urge to let loose. He was more of an observer who wrote down everyday life situations, he said in a WFMZ story.
For his efforts, he was part of a team that was recognized in June "for their outstanding work in the Special Class Writing category for 2011 at the 39th annual Daytime Entertainment Creative Arts Emmy Awards held in Los Angeles," the story said.
