Bear Creek Hosts Cheese, Garlic & Summer Mountain Festival
Bear Creek Mountain Resort presents a day of cheese, garlic, wine and crafts.

Bear Creek Mountain Resort hosts its annual Cheese, Garlic & Summer Mountain Festival noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at its expansive mountain compound in Longswamp Township.
The event will also be the scene of the second annual Cheese Roll. The 2 p.m. event takes place on the bank above the pond where competitors will gather. From the top of the hill, a round of cheese will be rolled and competitors will race down the hill after the cheese.
Registration takes place at noon Sunday in the Guest Services Lobby with a caveat: "Due to the increased risk of injury from this event, participants must sign a liability release. The threat of injury is real," they say.
