Christmas Tree Pick-up Continues in Macungie

Macungie Manager Chris Boehm wants borough residents to know that Christmas tree collection will continue this week.

"The Borough of Macungie will continue collecting Christmas trees curbside on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 7, 8 and 9. 

"The trees must not be in plastic bags and cannot contain any tinsel, ornaments, lights, etc.  If so, the trees will not be picked up. 

"Trees may also be taken to the Emmaus Compost Site or to the Lower Macungie Compost site during their hours of operation. 

"For more information on the tree collection or the Compost Facilities hours, please go to the Borough’s website," she said.
