Commemorative Events Honor Victims and Survivors of Sept. 11
Religious and musical memorials honor first responders, families.

Several local institutions are offering opportunities to observe the 10th anniversary of the four Sept. 11 attacks and to honor the victims, families and first responders who were directly affected that day.
Sept. 6-Oct. 21 – Art exhibition called “Reaction and Healing: The Tenth Anniversary of 9-11” at Penn State Lehigh Valley in Center Valley.
Sept. 10 – Exhibition and commemoration at the Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum, 432 W. Walnut St., Allentown. Exhibit will open at 1 p.m. with presentation by Petty Officer Jim Cava, U.S. Navy Retired. Those attending can view a fire truck from Ground Zero. The opening day of the exhibit is free.
Sept. 11 – The Great Allentown Band “An American Pageant Commemorating 9-11” 7:30-9 p.m. at Levitt Pavilion at the SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem, sponsored by ArtsQuest.
Sept. 11 -- in Salisbury Township will honor first responders Sunday at a 10th anniversary memorial service of Sept. 11, called "Never Forget...Hope."

FBI Supervisory Special Agent David J. LeValley will be the guest speaker at the service, which begins at 10 a.m. Tracy Sell, sister of Salisbury Township native , who died at the World Trade Center, will be a special guest.
Members of police, fire and other emergency rescuers who plan to attend are encouraged to wear their uniforms. Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship is located at 1151 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., near I-78.
