Barn Expert Greg Huber Speaks About Lehigh Valley's Earliest German Architecture

Greg Huber, owner of Past Perspectives and Eastern Barn Consultants, will lecture on the last remaining eighteenth century German Architecture of Lehigh County.

Huber will also be signing his books, The New World Dutch Barn (2001) and Stone Houses—Traditional Homes of Pennsylvania’s Bucks County and Brandywine Valley (2005).

Huber believes this may be the first lecture ever given on the earliest remaining German Architecture in Lehigh County and the first settled areas in Pennsylvania.  Lehigh County retains a number of its eighteenth century houses and a few barns.  Looking at these rare buildings will be akin to a virtual tour of a by-gone age.  Come away with a much better vision of an era that has not been seen in more than two centuries.  To register for this event, please call Lower Macungie Library at (610) 966-6864 or stop by theCirculation Desk.
