More than 100 Girl Scouts of all ages from the Macungie area and surrounding municipalities will participate in a celebration event focusing on how far women have come in the past 100 years since Juliette Low founded the first troop of Girl Scouts in Savannah, GA in 1912.
Girl Scouts, including Daisy, Brownie, Junior, Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador level scouts, will explore activities centered on science, invention, textiles and sports and how women made important discoveries, changes and impacts in all of these areas.
Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
