1. South Pacific

2. The 62nd Annual Kutztown Folk Festival

When/Where: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 2-10 at the Kutztown Fairgrounds.

Why Go: Count the ways: the hex signs, the quilts, the hex signs in the quilts, the music, the dancing, the food, the crafts, all amidst the bucolic splendor of rural Berks County.

Pricing: $14, adults; $13, seniors 55 and older; $5, juniors 13-17; no cost for children 12 and under. All week pass, $24.

3. Comedy of Errors

When/Where: 2 p.m. July 2 and 3 and 8 p.m. July 2 at the Schubert Theatre at DeSales University's Labuda Center.

Why Go: Because there's nothing like a good Shakespearean comedy, especially when it involves mistaken identity. Oh wait, they all involve mistaken identity.

Pricing: Tickets are $47-$50.

4. Burton Cummings

When/Where: 7:30 p.m. July 3 at the Musikfest Cafe located on the third and fourth floors of the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks in Bethlehem.

Why Go: Because you'll recognize the voice of former lead singer for the Guess Who ...you remember..."American Woman" and "No Sugar Tonight"...right?

Pricing: Tickets are $49 and $59.

5. The Rochester Red Wings vs. the Lehigh Valley IronPigs

When/Where: 6:35 p.m. at Coca-Cola Park.

Why Go: Because not only are there fireworks after the game, it's the night they give 3-D glasses to the first 7,000 fans! And then there's the actual baseball game...

Pricing: Tickets start at $6 for general admission.
