1. The 54th Allentown St. Patrick's Day Parade
When/Where: 1:30-6 p.m. March 20 beginning at the Allentown Fairgrounds and winding through the city's West End.

2. March Brunch at Cosmopolitan
When/Where: 10 am. to 3 p.m. March 20 at Cosmopolitan, 22 N. 6th St., Allentown.
Why go: The site of the former (and some say historic) Sal's Spaghetti House has been rebuilt as a truly gorgeous place to go for a treat.
Pricing: Again, depends on what you order.Â
When/Where: 8 p.m. March 18 at Symphony Hall, 23 N. 6th St., Allentown.
Why go: The group of five women include three vocalists, a fiddler and a dancer. What could be more perfect?
Pricing: $35-$60.
When/Where: 8-11pm at the Third Street Alliance, 41 N. 3rd St., Easton.
Why go: Because the atmosphere is relaxed, dress is casual and it's fun!
Pricing: $10.
5. Roller Derby: Lehigh Valley Hissy Fits v. Central New York Roller Derby
Independence Family Fun Center, 4345 Independence Drive, Schnecksville. Doors open at 5 p.m.
Why go: Um, roller derby? Hello?
Pricing: $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
