Get Out: Five Things to Do This Weekend

Lots to do this weekend! For your enjoyment and amusement we have baseball, a big yard sale, a concert, a covered bridge festival and a kilt crawl!

1. Kreidersville Covered Bridge Festival

When/Where: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. June 2-3 at 100 Covered Bridge Road, Northampton.

Why Go: It's such a summer thing to do, right? Plus, there's free fishing, a pig roast, food tent, hayrides, sheep shearing, pony rides and historic craft demonstrations.

Pricing: Depends on what you buy.

2. Pawtucket Red Sox vs. Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs

When/Where: 7:02 p.m. June 1 at Coca-Cola Park, Allentown

Why Go: It'll be a wicked good baseball game! And don't forget the Friday night fireworks!

Pricing: General admission tickets start at $7.

3. Fourth Annual Kilt Crawl

When/Where: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 3 at various locations in Bethlehem. Registration is adjacent to

Why Go: Teams are encouraged to collect sponsorships to support the annual Parade of Shamrocks. And wouldn't it just be fun to watch them crawl around in kilts?

Pricing: Registration fee is $20.

When/Where: Begins at 8 a.m. June 1 and June 2 at 5332 Lamb Ter, Allentown.

Why Go: Because yard sales are full of possibilities. You never know what you'll find!

When/Where: 3 p.m. June 3 in .

Why Go: This versatile group presents "Broadway, Brass and Beyond" which includes "Madrigal of Joy" by Linda Spevacek; a medley from "Godspell" and other selections from Broadway and film.  They will be joined by organ and brass in presenting "Entrata Festiva" by Flor Peeters.
