2. Allentown Restaurant Week

When/Where: lunch and dinner through Jan. 15 at Allentown Brew Works, Bada Bingg, Bayleaf, Cafe Central, Cosmopolitan, Island in the Sun, Made in Brazil, Pasta Alla Rosa, and Sangria.

Why Go: Because the eateries are offering special prices for the week and every time you go you get a chance to win gift cards and other swell prizes.

3. Indoor Winter Farmers Market

When/Where: Noon to 4 p.m. Jan. 14 in the Lee & Stella Yee Family Connect Zone of the ArtsQuest Center at , 101 Founders Way  Bethlehem.

Why Go: Since all the outdoor markets are closed for the winter, you can still find fresh fruit and vegetables, artisan breads and more, right here!

Pricing: Depends on what you buy.

4. Sing-a-Long Sound of Music

When/Where: 2 p.m. Jan. 15 at the 435 Northampton St., Easton.

Why Go: Oh, come on. This is real fun for everybody! I mean, how do YOU stop a problem like Maria???

Pricing: Tickets are $10 and $20.

5. Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild

When/Where: 2-3 p.m. at , 7 E. 4th St., Bethlehem
Bethlehem.

Why Go: Because stories are for young and old, and because this week the featured teller is Mary Wright. The performance is part of the group's Story Fusion project.

Pricing: $4.50. No charge for children under 3.
