Why Go: The slope-style competition ends with prizes that total $3,000.

When/Where: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 11-12 at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary in Kempton.
Why Go: Because children 12 and under, accompanied by an adult, who bring valentines for the hawks get free trail admission.
