It Was So Hot...

As the temperature rises, Lower Macungie Patch wants to know how hot it is where you are!

Yes, that's 117 degrees you see on the thermometer just outside Lower Macungie Patch. And the shot was taken at 11 a.m., before "the heat of the day."

The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Warning for today through tomorrow which means "a prolonged period of dangerously hot temperatures will occur. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity will create a dangerous situation in which heat illnesses are likely."

Fortunately, no Patchers were harmed in the production of this story since they didn't even have to leave the dining room to shoot the skyrocketing mercury.
