Lessons on Applesauce and Apple Butter
Visit the Macungie Farmers Market Thursday, Oct. 3 to pick up fall produce like pumpkins, apples, squash and lettuces and check out applesauce and apple butter cooking demonstrations.
Tis the season to love all things apple and the Macungie Farmers Market is taking full advantage of that today.
As always, the farmers market runs from 4 to 7 p.m. in Macungie Memorial Park, and if you head over to the information booth while you are there today, you will be able to catch applesauce and apple butter cooking demonstrations.
The recipe for apple butter will be available at the farmers market.
The sponsored vendor on Oct. 3 is Jus Kidding Around Farm and George Baier is providing music this week.
