Librarians To Learn About Fundraising
Easton-based Wolper Subscriptions will host a workshop in Bethlehem Wednesday.
It is not an easy time to be a librarian in Pennsylvania.
State funding for libraries has gone down in recent years, and in places like Easton--where much of the public library's funding comes from the school district--even the prospect of a  was a reality earlier this year.
If you're a local librarian dealing with these issues and want to learn how to embrace your fundraising skills,  of Easton is offering a free workshop to hone those abilities.

The workshop will take place at 3pm on Wednesday, June 22 at the offices of the Greater United Way of the Lehigh Valley at 2200 Avenue A, Suite 301, in Bethlehem. For more information, call 610-559-9550.
The workshop is open to both public and school librarians from all over the Lehigh Valley.
