We didn't just dream that we were outside in short sleeves on Friday when temperatures soared to 77 degrees in the Lehigh Valley? And that was winter, right? Spring ought to be even better.
No matter. We are where we are right now and that was with snow falling by daybreak, a cold rain pounding down during the day and a possible change back to snow after midnight, according to the National Weather Service. Less than an inch of additional snow is likely.

Thursday should be a transitional day, and the sun should return on Friday with a high of 41 degrees, the National Weather Service said. The weekend should be a mixture of sun and clouds with highs around 41 on both days.
The good news was that the return to winter weather has been mostly a nuisance snow so far. But with spring officially here, it would be nice to get on with flowers blooming and warm sunshine.
