Poll Says 'No' to GPS in Police Cars
The GPS issue could be a big topic at tonight's council meeting.

Over the past week, asking what readers think about putting borough-owned GPS units in police cars garnered 387 votes.
Twenty-five of the votes -- 6 percent -- indicate agreement with the proposal that the borough should spend thousands of dollars to install a system that will track the movements and locations of the borough police cars.
The other 362 votes -- 93 percent -- indicate the voters think this is not the way to go.

Though interesting, our poll is in no way scientific. Indeed, the votes only add up to 99 percent.
However, it does give an indication of the way voters are leaning.

The agenda for tonight's borough council meeting clearly indicates that the mayor will address the issue.
