Take Our Poll: What are Your Police Coverage Priorities?

At last night's borough council meeting, every council member questioned the using the borough's own police force.

Variables include not covering every shift in the day or asking the Pennsylvania State Police at Fogelsville to patrol the borough when our own officers are not available because they are sick, on vacation or in court.

Council has decided to eliminate one full-time police officer position and the 30-hour part-time position in its attempt to avoid a tax increase.
