Art Show Throughout April at Huntingdon Valley Library

Twice each month local artists use the natural light that pours through the windows of the meeting room of the Huntingdon Valley Library.  They sketch and paint for a few hours.  Through the month of April, their works and the works of their colleagues in the Bucks Mont Art League are on exhibit in the the library.  The subjects include local architecture, seascapes, portraits and landscapes.

Check our site on Thursday where Patch will post pictures of the different types of pieces that can be found at the Huntingdon Valley Library.

The Bucks Mont Art League was founded in 1957, just four years after Huntingdon Valley  Library.  The group meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at Warminster Township Library and has over 65 members.  Amateur and professional artists, as well as photographers and even non-artists are invited to join.  Contact the League at buckmontartleague@gmail.com and visit their website:  www.buckmontartleague.com

The art exhibit runs through April.  Huntingdon Valley Library is located at 625 Red Lion Road and is open Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Call for information at 215-947-5138.
