Thieves Were Unable To Remove Catalytic Converter From Lower Moreland Vehicle
The attempted catalytic converter theft occurred in late November on Glendale Road.

LOWER MORELAND, PA — Thieves looking to steal a catalytic converter from a vehicle in the township late last month were unsuccessful in their attempt.
Victims reported that on Nov. 22, they discovered that a saw blade was sitting underneath their work vehicle, which they had parked in the area of Glendale Road on Nov. 22, and that loud exhaust sounds were emanating from the vehicle when they went to start it up.
Police officers who responded to the call determined that an attempted theft of the catalytic converter likely occurred, given the used saw blade at the scene and the damage to the vehicle.
