County High School Students Exhibit Talent At PSEA Show
Annual event at Arcadia University featured more than 250 pieces of art from 27 different schools
Hatboro-Horsham High School artist Cassidy Quattro won first-place at the Pennsylvania State Educators Association βTouch of the Futureβ show, hosted by Arcadia University in Glennside.
Quattroβs black and white drawing titled, βVoice of a Revolution,β was picked βBest of Showβ out of 253 works of art from students representing 27 public school districts throughout Bucks and Montgomery Counties. The winning artist was also awarded $200.
The show, which was in its 28th year, was open from March 1 through March 19. Prizes were funded by the Mideastern Regional Pennsylvania Education Association.

Soudertonβs Sabrina Marks was second and won $150 with a black and white drawing, titled βMonocle.β James Griffin of Jenkintown was third with an Oil Painting titled, βEthan.β He also took home a $100 prize.
The PSEA also purchased two pieces of art that will be permanently displayed in the PSEA Mideastern Regional office in Montgomeryville. Each of the artists were awarded $150. Shannon OβMalley of Pennsbury had her 3-D functional stained glass lamp, titled βShades of the Seaβ purchased. Dan Matthewsβ acrylic painting was also purchased. The Lower Merion studentβs work is titled βSuburnscape.β

The PSEA also awarded $50 to the winners of 14 categories. The following is a list of all winners and also their teachers:
