Willow Grove Man Who Drove While On Meth Gets Prison Time For Causing Serious Crash
Troy C. Pick, of Upper Moreland, will spend up to a decade in state prison after seriously injuring a man while driving high on meth.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA β An Upper Moreland man who was driving under the influence of drugs when he caused a crash that seriously injured a 73-year-old driver in late 2018 is heading to state prison for up to a decade as punishment for his crime.
Troy C. Pick, 58, of Willow Grove, was handed a sentence of five to 10 years in a state correctional facility for driving under the influence of methamphetamine three years ago when he caused a head-on crash in Lower Moreland that seriously injured the other drive, who reportedly has been unable to work since the accident due to his extensive injuries.
The sentence, which was reported by the Pottstown Mercury and also reflected in state court records, came after a jury in January 2020 found Pick guilty of aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence, which is a second-degree felony.
