Ex-Husband Again Violates Protective Order, Arrested For Trespassing In Montco

LOWER MORELAND, PA β A local man who previously openly flouted a court order that barred him from going to his ex-wife's home was again arrested this month and charged in a similar trespassing incident, police announced.

Brennan was placed into custody and remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility after failing to post $25,000 bail, according to the criminal docket sheet in the case.
Records show he was arraigned on July 18 before Magisterial District Judge Paul N. Leo, after which Brennan was taken into custody and sent to the county jail.
A preliminary hearing had initially been scheduled for this Monday but court records show the hearing was continued to Oct. 3 before Magisterial District Judge Jay S. Friedenberg.
Lower Moreland Police said in their most recent report about Brennan's case that the defendant has, in the past, and also currently is, subject to a protection from abuse order, and that he keeps flouting the order by going inside his ex-wife's home.
Patch previously reported that Brennan's ex had been deemed by the courts to be an "incapacitated person," due to her age and mental status, and that in early April a judge barred Brennan from entering the home or having contact with the woman.
Despite the order, however, Brennan had been continually going to the home and breaking in, police said.
A look at related court dockets for similar cases against Brennan show that he has been held for court on various charges during previous proceedings, and that disposition of those charges is moving forward.
