Flooding, High Amounts of Rainfall and Flood Warning Tonight in Montco
The National Weather Service has declared a flood warning for Montgomery County until 7:45 p.m. Friday night.

A flood warning by the National Weather Service is in effect until 7:45 p.m. tonight.
According to the Eastern PA Weather Authority's Facebook page, as of 2 p.m. Friday, Pottstown had received 1.9 inches of rain. Northeast Philadelphia had seen 1.23 inches and at the Philadelphia Airport, 1.07 inches had been reported. The site is reporting that the area could see another 1 to 2 inches of rainfall through 3 a.m. as Tropical Storm Andrea moves through the region.
The heavy rainfall has caused elevated levels in local creeks and streams, according to the National Weather Service.

According to the USGS WaterWatch website, as of 2:30 p.m. on Friday the river level of the Schuylkill River in Norristown was at 9.12 feet.
- The Wissahickon Creek at Fort Washington was at 7.33 feet with an "above normal" water flow.
- The Perkiomen Creek at Graterford was at 2.49 ft. with a flood stage of 11 feet and the Perkiomen Creek at Schwenksville was at 3.72 feet with an "above normal" flow.
- Valley Creek near Valley Forge was at 5.72 feet with a "much above normal" flow.
- Pennypack Creek near Willow Grove was at 1.79 feet.
The National Weather Service is also reporting that flooding of streets, highways and underpasses are possible during the evening.
