Former Lower Moreland Assistant Principal Guilty Of Improper Contact With Young Boys

Former Murray Avenue Assistant Principal Charles Hurst admits to sending improper text messages to students

A former vice principal in the Lower Moreland School District has admitted to having improper contact with two male students.

Hurst, 37, of Somerset Court in Montgomery County, pled guilty to two counts of corruption of a minor. He sent sexual text messages to two 13-year-old boys while working at Pennbrook Middle School between January 2009 and August 2010.Β

Sentencing is scheduled for later this year, but it is unlikely he will get to work at a school again now that he's been convicted of two crimes against children.
