Huntingdon Valley Massage Therapist Charged With Sexual Assault
Christopher Sean Strain, a massage therapist at Aches & Strains, was arrested July 22 and charged with assaulting a massage business patron.
LOWER MORELAND, PA β A Montgomery County man has been arrested on sexual assault charges stemming from an incident at his Huntingdon Valley massage business.
Lower Moreland Township police arrested Christopher Sean Strain, 32, on July 22 and charged him with both misdemeanor and felony counts relating to an alleged sexual assault of a patron at the Aches & Strains massage business, according to a report posted to the Crimewatch website.
A search of state court records confirmed that Strain was indeed arrested late last month and charged with aggravated indecent assault without consent, a second-degree felony, and indecent assault without consent of others, categorized as a first-degree misdemeanor.

Court papers show that Strain was arraigned on the charges on July 22 and he was initially confined to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility because he was unable to post bail. A day later, however, records show that Strain posted 10 percent of the $10,000 and was released from custody pending his preliminary hearing, which has not yet been scheduled.
Lower Moreland Police Chief Dave Scirrotto told Patch that after police received the complaint from the victim, detectives undertook a thorough investigation and presented their evidence to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office, which subsequently approved the filing of charges against Strain.

Scirrotto said the department doesn't currently have information or knowledge if there are any additional individuals who were allegedly victimized by Strain, but he urged anyone who may be a victim to come forward.
"Our priority is focusing on any local victims of sexual assault, of indecent assault,β he said.
Strain resides in the Elkins Park section of Abington Township, according to court records.
According to his public LinkedIn profile, Strain, a licensed massage therapist, has owned and operated Aches & Strains since July 2019. The site shows that his massage career dates back a number of years.
A search of the Aches & Strains website shows that the business offers a variety of massage services.
