
The Lower Moreland Police Department is participating in the nationwide MedReturn program, according to the township's website.
According to the township's site, "The program's mission is to provide a safe, secure and environmentally friendly way for communities and law enforcement agencies to collect unwanted or expired household medications, including prescriptions, over-the-counter drugs and unused pharmaceuticals."
The collection box is located in the police station lobby, open Monday through Friday 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
