Local Rotary Club to Host Marcellus Shale Discussion

State Representative Brendan Boyle will be speaking to the Huntingdon Valley/Southampton Rotary Club about the impact of Marcellus Shale drilling Wednesday evening.

State Representative Brendan Boyle will be addressing members of the Huntingdon Valley/Southampton Rotary Club about the impact of the Marcellus Shale drilling industry in Pennsylvania Wednesday evening.

Boyle plans to discuss the benefits and growth potential of natural gas drilling, as well as public concerns about the impact of natural gas development on the environment and local communities.

The rotary club meeting will take place at the Vereinigung Erzgebirge Club, 130 Davisville Road, Warminster. It is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. and is open to the public. The cost to attend is $15, which covers the cost of dinner.
