Lower Moreland Commissioners 2021 Election Results: Republicans Come Out On Top
The Lower Moreland commissioners race is over. A GOP incumbent was reelected and a Republican takes over for a Democrat in Ward 2.

LOWER MORELAND, PA — The race for three township commissioners is over, and as of Wednesday morning it appears that two Republicans had come out on top, with all precincts reported.
Incumbent GOP commissioner Joseph Canale, who represents Ward 4, appeared to have won his race against Democratic challenger Carrie Givhan, with Canale receiving 484 votes while Givhan was shown to have secured just 326.

In the race for Ward 2 commissioner, it appeared that Republican candidate Joe Pace won with 327 votes versus candidate Chuck McDade, who got 284 votes, according to the unofficial county results.
Ward 2 is currently represented by Commissioner Jill Blumhardt, a Democrat.

The final race, for Ward 6, came out with incumbent Commissioner Denis Kuritz on top, with 495 votes. A write-in candidate received 7 votes, leading Kuritz, a Democrat and the board's vice president, to secure reelection to her post.
The unofficial county results showed that 100 percent of the vote had been tallied.
