The Board of Commissioners will meet next week on April 10 where the issue of a 33-unit complex will be brought to the table.

Lower Moreland released an update yesterday saying it will continue to review the zoning change in regards to a .

Last month the Board of Commissioners reviewed a sketch plan from Liborio-Louviers, LLC, who wish to build condominiums on Lieberman Drive behind the US Post Office adjacent to . But in order for that to happen, the area - which is zoned as Industrial - will need to be changed to allow residential development.

While the developer presents its idea, township officials will have to decide if this project is worthy of granting a public hearing on whether or not to amend its current township code. They will work with the County Planning Commissions to work out the best possible solution.

The next step of that process will take place on Tuesday, April 10 at the next Board of Commissioners meeting. The developer will present a more detailed version of its plan and then it will up to the township to decide from there. Last month commissioners said, at the very least, the project will require a lot line adjustment at Huntingdon Storage.

Liborio-Louviers, LLC was at the March 13 Board of Commissioners meeting, but the preliminary sketch was very vague. There were no concrete details that were ironed out, but the company did say it hoped to build four or five buildings of single family attached dwellings. So each building would house about six to eight units apiece.
