Lower Moreland Cross Country Remains Perfect in League, Rapson at 299 Wins

The LM Cross Country team sits at 7-0 in the Bicentennial League and ran its overall record to 11-1 to help coach Rapson collect win No. 299.

The Lower Moreland high school cross country team collected wins over Christopher Dock, Bristol, Calvary Christian and the Church Farm School to run its Bicentennial League record to 7-0.

The Lions, who are 11-1 overall on the season, were led by seniors Chris Moran (second place), Matt Alexander (fifth), Mike Mangan (sixth) and Luke Castor (seventh). Junior Jon Aurit rounded out the Lions' scoring finishing in 10th place.

With the victories, coach Dick Rapson now sits at 299 wins as he hopes to capture his third straight District 1 AA title in a few weeks.
