The Lower Moreland Police Department Will Soon Offer Testing For Police Applicants

The suburban police department is currently looking to fill the role of probationary police officer. Applications currently being accepted.

LOWER MORELAND, PA β€” The Lower Moreland Police Department says it is looking for a new officer to join the force.

The department recently announced that it will offer an upcoming examination for a probationary police officer.

The written test will be given on Sept. 27 in the community room of the Huntingdon Valley Library, 625 Red Lion Road, Huntingdon Valley, according to the police department.

A physical fitness test will then be conducted on Oct. 2 at the Murray Avenue Middle School track, located at 2551 Murray Avenue in Huntingdon Valley.

Applications are available starting Monday Aug. 23 at the Lower Moreland Township Police Department headquarters at 640 Red Lion Road. The applications can be picked up Monday through Friday in person, and they can also be found here online.
