Lower Moreland School Board Elections: Republicans Lead As Of Wed. Unofficial Results
The Lower Moreland School Board race appears to have two incumbents securing reelection. They are joined by two newcomers.

LOWER MORELAND, PA β Two incumbent Lower Moreland Township school directors appeared to have secured reelection while two new members were chosen during Tuesday's municipal races, with the Republican party having the ideological advantage following the race.
Unofficial election returns from Montgomery County on Wednesday show that Lower Moreland School Board member Michael Berardi, a Republican, and fellow member Steven Geiger, who is cross-filed as a Republican and Democrat, but more aligns with the GOP, appeared to secure reelection to the board.
Democratic candidate James Lee seems to have gotten around 1,971 votes while the other newcomer, Jennifer Cannon, who is cross-filed as a Republican and Democrat but seems to be more affiliated with the GOP, got a total of 2,029 votes, the unofficial results show.

Cannon was endorsed by the Lower Moreland Republican Committee, according to her campaign website.
Berardi, Geiger and Cannon were all part of a team called 'Lower Moreland First,' which had also included candidate Lance Wolbransky, who results show received a total of 1,826 votes.

Voters had to choose four candidates for the school board.
Lee, 47, is a political newcomer and Lower Moreland resident who has worked as a local medical doctor for the past two decades.
The results reflected in this story are unofficial tallies from Montgomery County that could change given the fact that there are still outstanding mail-in ballots not yet counted. Patch will bring you additional information on this race and other races when more is known.
