Man Had Sexual Chats With Child In Lower Moreland: Police

LOWER MORELAND — One man has been arrested in Mongtomery County after carrying on sexually explicit chats online with a child.

Daniel Belizaire, 21, of Flushing, New York, faces numerous counts including corruption of minors and possessing child pornography.

The investigation began on May 8 when Lower Moreland police were told by the victim’s parents of the online chats.

Police said Belizaire had engaged in “explicit” chats with the child, and had sent and requested nude images of children.

Belizaire communicated with the Montgomery County child from New York and did not meet her in person.

A warrant was issued Aug. 30 and Belizaire later turned himself in to authorities.

A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
