Montgomery Bar to Host Annual Law Day Celebration
Newly admitted members to the Bar, winners of the Montgomery County High School Mock Trial Competitions, recipients of Public Service Awards and others will be honored.

The Montgomery Bar Association (MBA) invites members of the media and public to attend its 2012 Law Day Celebration tomorrow, May 1, beginning at 11:30 a.m. in Courtroom “A” of the Montgomery County Courthouse. The MBA will be honoring newly admitted members to the Bar, winners of the Montgomery County High School Mock Trial Competitions, recipients of Public Service Awards and others. Following the ceremony, Law Day festivities will continue with a complimentary buffet luncheon at the Montgomery Bar Association building.
Each year, members of Montgomery County’s Bench and Bar join our nation in observing Law Day to educate people of all ages about America’s legal system and the rights and responsibilities we have as United States citizens. The theme for this year’s celebration is “I HAVE A DREAM”. President Judge William J. Furber, Jr. will provide a brief introduction, and this year’s Law Day Address will be delivered by the Honorable Cheryl Lynne Austin. Donald J. Martin, Esq., President of the Montgomery Bar Association, is also among a list of notable speakers scheduled to address the Court.
