Police Log: April 4
The following incidents were reported by the Lower Moreland Police Department

It's Monday, so that means it's time for the weekly police log. Enjoy.
March 30 β DUI
Alan Jalon, 29, of Philadelphia, was stopped near of Pine and Welsh roads at 1:01 a.m. for driving with an expired registration. While stopped, the police found him to be intoxicated.
He failed field sobriety tests and a preliminary breath test showed that his blood alcohol level was above the legal limit, police said. Police also added that he was taken to Holy Redeemer Hospital for blood testing and charges are pending results.
March 26 β Theft

A resident of the 3300 block of Woodland Circle contacted police at 3:51 p.m. after discovering that someone had punched in his rear door lock cylinder. The suspect also gained access to his car between 7:30 p.m. March 25 and 10 a.m. March 26, police said, noting that a toolbox and numerous tools had been taken.

Terrence Calderon, 31, of Philadelphia, was arrested at 1:57 a.m. after driving in the turning lane on Valley Rd. near George Rd., police said. Calderon failed field sobriety tests and a preliminary breath test showed that his blood alcohol level was above the legal limit.
He was taken to Holy Redeemer Hospital for blood testing and charges are pending lab results, police added.
March 25 β DUI
Svetlana Iosilevich, 45, of the 3300 block of Paper Mill Rd., was arrested for DUI at 2:07 a.m. after she was stopped for speeding on Byberry Rd. She was found to be intoxicated after she was stopped near Brae Bourne Drive.
She failed field sobriety tests and a preliminary breath test showed that her blood alcohol level was above the legal limit, police said, adding that she was taken to Holy Redeemer Hospital and charges are pending lab results.
March 24 β Fraud
A resident of the 3500 block of Corn Crib Lane contacted police at 4:39 p.m. to report that a man called and said he had been arrested for drug smuggling in Haiti and needed $2,873. The man told the resident he was her grandson.
March 22 β DUI
Annmarie Shumsky, 47, of Willow Grove, was arrested for at 2:30 p.m. after she rear-ended another vehicle at Byberry Rd. and Huntingdon Pike. Police said the driver appeared disoriented and told officers she was on a number of prescription medications for a medical condition.
