Police Log: Bethayres Tavern Reopens, DUI and Public Drunkenness
The following incidents were reported by the Lower Moreland Police Department

There were only a few incidents to report this week.
September 13 β Public Services
- 2231 Huntington Pike β Bethayres Tavern
As of Sept. 8, Bethayres Tavern was closed until further notice. Per Code Enforcement officer Robert Schadegg, a hazardous condition existed due to electrical problems, flooding, leak of heating oil.

On Sept. 13, Bethayres Tavern had been given permission to reopen.
September 11 β Public Drunkenness

- Area of Philip Rd.
LMPD responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle near the intersection of Philip Rd. and Long Lane. Upon arrival, police found the car parked with the driver sitting in it with the ignition off.
The driver, Aleksander Fenkel, 42, had been drinking and threw up next to the car before police arrived. Fenkelβs sister, who lives on Long Lane, came to pick him up.
September 10 β DUI
- Area of Byberry Rd. and Huntingdon Pike
Daniel Rosario, 37, was pulled over after speeding down Byberry Rd. in a 1998 BMW. When police pulled him over, it detected the smell of alcohol on Rosarioβs breath, and also noticed that his eyes were glassy and bloodshot.
Rosario failed field sobriety checks and registered a 0.96% BAC and was placed under arrest.
